AUBURN – Chris Brackett poured in a game-high 22 points to lead Central Maine Community College to an 84-61 win over Northern Maine Community College Sunday afternoon.

The Mustangs led 46-32 at the end of the first half with Patrick Dempsey, and Kaleb Violette each adding 17 points in the win.

Northern Maine Commmunity College was led by Craig Durost with 21 points.

Husson 87, Wheelock 31

BANGOR – Husson College jumped out to an insurmountable 44-7 lead at the end of the first half as they handed Wheelock College an 87-31 loss in women’s hoop action Sunday.

Jodi Merchant led Husson with 17 points, while Annie McIntosh added 15 points.

Crystal Martin and Carmen Ballard added 12 and 10 points respectivley in the lopside win. Wheelock was led by Samantha Cummings with a game-high 21 points.
