Driver course
SALEM – The SAD 58 adult education program will offer a driver education class beginning Jan. 21 at Mount Abram High School. The class will be 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for three weeks. The driving portion will take place as soon as weather permits. Interested students, age 15 or older, are asked to preregister by Jan. 14. A $250 deposit must be made by the start of class. The cost is $500, which includes a $10 permit, car rental, insurance and gas. At registration, students must provide an original birth certificate and a photocopy of their Social Security card. The maximum number for the class will be 20, so early registration is recommended. NEW VINEYARD – The Open Bible Baptist Church is inviting the public to join in celebration through song the birth of Jesus Christ as they present “Of His Kingdom There Shall Be No End” at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, and again Sunday, Dec. 19, at the church.
