LEWISTON – Raymond J. Beaulieu, 75, of 102 Campus Ave., where he was a resident of D’Youville Pavilion for the past four years, died Saturday, Dec. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on July 31, 1929, the son of Alphonse and Annette (Boutin) Beaulieu.

He was a devout Catholic who loved to read the Bible. He also loved to be around people and could brighten even the darkest room with his smile.

Through his kind heart and beautiful eyes, he spoke the words he needed to say. He enjoyed coffee ice cream, flowers, animals, soap operas, John Wayne movies and flirting with pretty ladies.

He will be truly missed and never forgotten by his devoted friend an outreach worker, Rhonda Clukey, his guardian, Donna Gillespie, his caregivers at D’Youville Pavilion and his numerous friends at John F. Murphy Homes.

He has two sisters, Irene Boutin of Hartford, Conn. and Florence McKay of Ashland, Ohio.
