LISBON FALLS – Zinnetta June Galarneau, 82, a resident of Bauer Street and formally of Zephyrhills, Fla., died early Monday at Park View Hospital, Brunswick, following a recent illness.

She was born June 3, 1922 in Chartiers, Pa., the daughter of James B.N. and Pearl M. (Briggs) Bowers and was educated in the schools of Washington, Pa.

On April 21, 1950, she married Joseph R. Galarneau, Sr. in Freeport. He died Oct. 31, 2001.

She attended The First Assembly Of God Church Lewiston and enjoyed the interest of various crafts.

Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Ron (Davadell J.) Weeks of Lisbon Falls, Ms. June P. Halco and Ms. Virginia A. Wyers both of Duncanville, Ala.; two sons, Joseph R. Galareau Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Sabattus, and Roy M. Galareau of Zephyrhills, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
