AUBURN – The Lost Valley Ski and Snowboarding Club is an extension of Venturing Crew 100, sponsored by Lost Valley. Sessions will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Dec. 21.
In addition to the weekly sessions, participants will get the chance to learn about and experience aspects of snow sports and will get the opportunity to become involved with the Scout Venturing program.
Any young man or woman between the ages of 14 and 20 who enjoys skiing or snowboarding and/or would like to work on skills and get involved in the Venturing program is invited.
The group is seeking parents who may be interested in volunteering as leaders. It is not required that members come to all sessions.
Participants must register with the Venturing program for which the cost annually is $10, which covers insurance and application fee to Venturing’s national office.
