LEWISTON – Beverly Joyce Polley, 67, of Towle Street, Auburn, died Monday, Dec. 13, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston on June 9, 1937, the daughter of Thomas and Katheryn Paladino. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 1955, and later attended the Plus-Gray Business School in Portland, where she received her Associate’s Degree in computer programming.

She worked for many years for Liberty Mutual, and also worked part-time for many years in the local mills including Bates Manufacturing and Libby Mill. She later worked for L.L. Bean in Portland, for 17 years, until her retirement in 2003.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church, where she belong to the Queens Guild Sodality.

Beverly enjoyed playing bingo, shopping for her grandchildren, and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

She is survived by her daughter Kim L. Pelkey of Mechanic Falls; her two sons, Eric T. Polley of Hebron, and Jeffrey D. Polley, and his wife Tami of Oxford; six grandchildren, Jamie L. Levesque, and her husband, Brian of Auburn, Justin D. Pelkey of Lewiston, Travis J. Pelkey of Mechanic Falls, Derek Jones of Lewiston, Jeffrey D. Polley of Hill AFB, Ogden, UT, and Michelle L. Polley of Oxford; and her great-grandson Dylan. She is also survived by her two brothers, Henry “Hank” Paladino, and his wife Terry of Lewiston, and Robert Paladino, and his wife Judy of Auburn.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Antoinette Gaul; and two brothers, Thomas, and Donald Paladino.
