FARMINGTON – SAD 9 students have been recognized for their talents.
Teams from Academy Hill School in Wilton and Cascade Brook School in Farmington were recognized by their principals during a board meeting Tuesday.
The Wilton Academy Lego robotics team won first place in competition for coming up with a problem in their school and resolving it. The kids tackled accessibility for the handicapped at the school.
The Cascade Brook Lego team came up with plan on handicapped accessibility in the classrooms and won the judge’s award during the competition.
It was also announced Tuesday that Mt. Blue High School senior Andrea Belanger, who is a bass player, was chosen as one of three students in Maine to participate in the All-Eastern Orchestra.
