THOMASTON – Senior guards Brad Bryant and Josh Armandi each recorded 19 points to propel Livermore Falls to a 53-43 win over Georges Valley in boys’ basketball action Thursday.
The Andies (1-2) applied a full-court press in the second quarter to slam the Buccaneers with a 27-6 frame for an insurmountable 35-23 lead at the midpoint. Livermore Falls forced Georges Valley to turn over the ball 15 times during the contest.
The Buccaneers (1-1) played relatively even in the second half, even coming to within five points down the stretch, but couldn’t pull the trigger. Senior center Max Johanson led Georges Valley with 14 points in the loss.
