BOWDOINHAM – Eva A. Woods, 85, of Fisher Road, died Friday, Dec. 17, at Freeport Nursing Home.

She was born in Rumford, April 18, 1919, a daughter of Herman O. and Clara Emma Marshall Woods.

She attended the Country School in Bowdoin and graduated valedictorian, Class of 1937, from Brunswick High School. She also graduated from the Maine School of Commerce in Portland.

She was employed at Cumberland County Power and Light and Farnsworth Mill in Lisbon Center, where she worked for 23 years.

She raised sheep for many years on her Bowdoinham farm.

She is survived by a sister, L. Mae Morgan, of Lisbon Falls; six nephews; a niece; and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
