HEBRON – A 20-year-old man from Pennsylvania died Friday night after his sport utility vehicle overturned on Route 119 and struck a tree, State Police Trooper Kyle Tilsley said.

Francis Sheibley of Mechanicsburg, Pa., was in Maine to attend a skiing event at Sunday River Ski Area in Newry, the investigator said.

Sheibley lost control of his Ford Explorer about a quarter-mile east of Hebron Academy, Tilsley said.

He was flown to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he was pronounced dead, the trooper said.

The investigation into the 7:45 p.m. accident is continuing, he said.
