LEWISTON – Ann E. Belisle, 84, of 102 Campus Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, Dec. 17, at D’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on April 4, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Annie Carrier Roy. She had been a resident of this community all of her life.

Mrs. Belisle was employed as a folder in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement.

She married Camille Belisle, who died on Nov. 8, 1988.

She is survived by three daughters, Annette Arnold and her husband, Gary, of Lewiston, Patricia Mongeau and her husband, Steve, of Poland, and Julie Heald and her husband, William, of Lewiston; two brothers, Robert Roy of Bellingham, Mass., and Raymond Roy of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Cecile Forgues and her husband, Fernand, of Lewiston, and Violette Bisson of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Paulette Towle, who died in 1980; and by a great-grandson.
