AUBURN – The wedding of Amy Nichole Brown and Mario Alton True was held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Court Street Baptist Church. James Allen, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. True is the daughter of Herman and Kimberley Brown of Hartford. Mr. True is the son of Timothy and Philippa True of Hartford.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white embroidered halter gown with train and she carried a bouquet of white roses.

Jennifer Brown, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Angella Ayotte, sister of the bride, Sarah Brown and Tatum Brown, sisters-in-law of the bride, and Laura Mongeon, cousin of the bride. Ainsley Brown, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Serving as best man was a friend of the bridegroom, Randy Poulin, and ushers were Eric Ayotte and Brian Marston, friends of the bridegroom, and Herman and Jeremy Brown, brothers of the bride. Cameron and Christian Brown, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Mazatlan, Mexico, They are residing in Bangor.

The bride is a senior at the University of Maine in the nursing program. She is employed as a certified nurses aide.

The bridegroom is a senior at the University of Maine, majoring in business management. He is employed at Bankers Life and Casualty.
