“Aviator” star Kate Beckinsale says she would consider a return to university to finish studying, reports the BBC.

Beckinsale, who plays Ava Gardner in Martin Scorsese’s film, did not complete her degree at Oxford.

“I’m 31 years old and if I’m going to go back to college … then it’s probably time to do it now,” she said.

Beckinsale went to Oxford University to study French and Russian literature, but left before graduating after her acting career took off.

Beckinsale was speaking ahead of the U.K. premiere of the film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Howard Hughes, has earned six Golden Globe nominations and is tipped for Oscar success.

The film also stars Gwen Stefani, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe .

and Sir Ian Holm.

“I’m not in any terrible depression. Career-wise I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’ve just worked with Scorsese and Leonardo and that’s all great.”
