LIVERMORE FALLS – Karen Mitchell and Betty Green are again this year trying to make Christmas brighter for others.

The women are organizing the fourth annual free Christmas dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 25, at the American Legion Hall on Reynolds Avenue in Livermore Falls.

The dinner is sponsored by the community with backing from the Tri-Town Ministerial Association. The latter hasn’t had to provide any financial support in the past, Mitchell said previously, because the community has pitched in.

All are welcome.

For easier planning, reservations may be made by phoning Mitchell at 897-3593 and leaving a message. Home delivery of meals is also available.
