LIVERMORE FALLS – Kenneth Raymond Schilling, 57, a resident of Depot Street, Livermore Falls, died Saturday, Dec. 18, at his home.
“Ken” was born on Aug. 9, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Anthony and Gene Deloria Bolis Sherman and attended the local schools.
He was a mill worker, having been employed by Country Kitchen, Jones & Vining in Lewiston and the local shoe factories.
He will be remembered as the life of the party who loved to make people laugh and play jokes whenever he could.
He especially looked forward to spending time with his family and grandchildren and made sure they were provided for. He always put everyone’s needs ahead of his own.
He was very mechanical and spent much of his free time working on VCRs and many types of electronics.
He loved to draw, watch movies and listen to music, especially the “oldies.” He enjoyed his fishing trips at the ocean with family and friends.
He is survived by six daughters, Karrie Allen of East Livermore, Kelly Schilling of Livermore, Katie Schilling, Tina Gaudette of Rhode Island, Sherrie Chambers Newman of Auburn, and Sandra Greco of Rhode Island; a sister, Lyndene Dionne of Rhode Island; three brothers, Donald Schilling, Elwood Schilling of Leeds, and Edmond Stacy of Quincy, Mass.; eight grandchildren, Adam Hardy, Kelsey Schilling, Brian Hardy, Felix and Meia Velazquez, Kimberly, Timothy Jr. and Shawn Allen; and a former companion, Maxine Figg, of Virginia.
