LEWISTON – Mike Giles was recently hired to replace the retiring director of social services at Marshwood, a Sandy River Health System facility. Before accepting the position, he held a similar position in another facility.

Giles has a varied background, with many years of experience as a substance-abuse counselor working with teenagers, as well as working with teens in the foster care system.
