BRUNSWICK – Downeast Energy completed its acquisition of Potter Oil Co. of Mount Vernon Dec. 20.

Potter Oil Co. is in its second generation of Potter ownership and has been in the heating business for 53 years. Brent and Debbie Potter will be retiring, but Brent’s sister, Sonya Potter, will stay on as general manager at the Mount Vernon location.
