CAPE ELIZABETH – Gina Maria Morgridge-Doyle and John A. “J.P.” (Hamel) Pressey were married June 5 at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth. The reception was held at the home of the couple in Gorham.

The bride is the daughter of the late Bettina A. Morgridge of Portland and the late Ralph O. Morgridge of Fort Kent. The bridegroom is the son of Catherine J. Pressey of Mechanic Falls and Alfred R. Hamel of Lewiston.

Chad Gryskwicz gave the bride in marriage. The maids of honor were Stacey L. Boldosser and Stacey Day. The bridesmaids were Allison M. Poitras, Melissa Jipson, Nikki Ferracci and Dawn Sinko. The flower girl was Niki, a 15-year-old beagle/Jack Russell terrier.

The best men were R. Scott Daigle and Chad Crabtree. The ushers were John Hawley, Tracy Bennett, Marc Emond and David Jipson. The ring bearer was Joey Ferracci.

The bride graduated from Burlington High School in Burlington, Vt., the University of Southern Maine and Pierre’s School of Cosmetology. She is the owner of Country Cutters Hair and Nail Salon in Standish.

The bridegroom graduated from Edward Little High School and Southern Maine Technical College. He also graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. He is the owner of JP’s Images Fine Art Photography and Woodburned Art.

After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Gorham.
