LEWISTON – Irene and Richard Topham of Limerick and Sanford are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah D. Topham of Lewiston, to Michael E. Pleau of Lewiston, son of Connie and Jean Pleau of Lewiston.

Miss Topham is a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and is a teacher at Auburn Middle School.

Mr. Pleau is a 2000 graduate of Husson College and is employed at Northeast Painting and Coatings Inc.

The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. on May 21 at the Bates College Chapel.
