SABATTUS – Albert R. “Bo” Bousquet, 65, a resident of Middle Road, died Sunday afternoon at his residence surrounded by his family following a long illness.
He was born in Topsham, March 23, 1939, the son of Arthur J. and Inez E. (Crocker) Bousquet. He was educated in the grammar schools of Brunswick and was a graduate of Brunswick High School.
From 1956 to 1966, he served his country during the Vietnam war with the United States Marine Corps.
On May 22, 1963, he married the former Bonnie C. (Kirby) in Ringold, Ga.
He was employed for many years as a tech planner. He enjoyed sports very much and was thrilled recently to see the Boston Red Sox win the world series. He collected baseball cards, played cribbage on the Internet, and was a very talented card player. His most important interest was his family. He very much loved and enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of Sabattus; his mother of Lisbon; three sons, David Bousquet of Concord, Calif., Scott Bousquet and his wife, Sandra, of Freeport, and Michael Bousquet and his wife, Anne, of Wichita, Kan.; five grandchildren, Brandon, Robert, Scott, Gabrielle and Jacob Bousquet; a nephew, David A. Bousquet; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Joyce Bousquet of Lake Placid, Fla.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur J. Bousquet; and a brother, David E. Bousquet.
