AUBURN – An indoor soccer program for youngsters 5-8 is being planned by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department.

There will be 2 divisions, ages 5-6 and 7-8. Teams will consist of 10 players, 6 of whom will be on the floor at the same time.

Games will be played Saturday afternoons at Great Falls gym on Academy Street for a 6-week period beginning Jan. 22.

Registrations are currently taking place at the APRD office at Pettengill Park and will continue through Jan. 14. Entry fee is $20 for Auburn residents and $30 for non-residents.

Skating program set

AUBURN – The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a skating instructional program at Ingersoll Arena at Pettengill Park. The 9-week program is for ages 4 to adult.

Registration dates are Dec. 13-29, with the program to be held Fridays starting Jan. 7 and extending to March 4. Entry fee is $80.

Following are the breakdown of Friday times: 4:30-5:30 p.m., Beginner; 5:30-6:30 p.m., Advanced.

Each Friday class will include 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of practice time.
