Accidents
Lewiston

• Angela Hamann, 20, of Lewiston, lost control of her vehicle and slid into a utility pole at 11:15 p.m. Sunday at River and Goddard streets. Hamann and three passengers were each taken to Central Maine Medical Center to be evaluated. Damage to Hamman’s 1997 Chevrolet was estimated at $3,000.

Auburn

• Nicholas A. Pulkinen, 21, of Monmouth, lost control of his vehicle and slid into a utility pole at 7:10 a.m. Monday on Washington Street. Damage to the 1994 Pontiac, owned by Arnold Pulkinen, was estimated at $4,000.

• Vehicles driven by Norman O. Bouley, 56, and Wallace F. Brown, 41, both of Auburn, collided at 1:15 p.m. Monday at Academy and Main streets. Damage to Bouley’s 2004 Mazda was estimated at $1,000; to Brown’s 2004 Ford, $2,500.

• Vehicles driven by Robert F. Leavitt, 65, and Ryan M. Guile, 22, both of Auburn, collided at 6:57 a.m. Monday at Poliquin Avenue and Manley Road. Damage to Leavitt’s 2005 Ford was estimated at $2,300; to Guile’s 1997 Chevrolet, $1,500.

• Amber Gosselin, 17, of Auburn, lost control of the car she was driving and struck a tree at 7:12 a.m. Monday on Beech Hill Road. Damage to the 1995 Toyota, driven by Gosselin and owned by Sue Harris, was estimated at $6,500.
