Lunch will be free

MEXICO – The Greater Rumford Area Ministers’ Pantry Service will serve a free lunch at noon Wednesday, Jan. 5, in the Town Office.

Cafe’ talk planned

MEXICO – Book Cafe, a book discussion group for adults, will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, in the Mexico Public Library.

The group meets monthly and discussed a previously selected book. The meeting after that will be Feb. 2.

Storytime

RUMFORD – A preschool story time for area youngsters ages 2 to 5 years will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, in the Public Library.

The program includes stories, songs and finger plays, and crafts when appropriate to the story time theme.

Story times are not held during school vacations or in the event of SAD 43 school cancellations.
