AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer a workshop on fund-raising, “Creating Donor Evangelists” (FRI004-01), from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18. The cost of $55 includes materials.

The workshop will explore concepts from the book, “Creating Customer Evangelists,” and how they apply to nonprofit development. Participants will learn how to make their organizations stand out from the many groups looking for funding, without spending lots of money. The workshop is good for nonprofits and volunteers and will feature proven techniques to improve fund-raising skills.

The session will be facilitated by Marc Pitman, an expert in fund-raising. He has played significant roles in capital campaigns that have raised a combined total of more than $50 million.

To register, contact Jennifer Lyons, Corporate and Community Services, at 755-5280 or e-mail training@cmcc.edu.
