PARIS – A Roxbury man pleaded not guilty Thursday to a charge of felony theft at his arraignment in Paris.

Joshua F. Hodgkins, 21, was then released on personal recognizance bail by Oxford County Superior Court Judge Ellen Gorman.

A trial date has yet to be set.

Hodgkins and Mark W. Ramsdell, 46, of Mexico, were indicted Nov. 19 by a grand jury on a count each of felony theft for allegedly stealing storm-drain grates, sewer covers and associated hardware on Oct. 17 from the town of Mexico.

The 10 sets of materials were estimated to be worth $5,000.

The case against Ramsdell was joined with Hodgkins’.
