GREENE – Lucien M. Robert, 73, of Route 202, Greene, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, at The Meadows.
He was born, Sept. 26, 1931, the son of George and Jeanne Davignon Robert, in Pawtucket, R.I. and moved to Maine in 1983.
He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Korean War veteran.
He was a cabinet maker and woodworker by trade. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed woodturning, gardening and taking care of the animals at the Meadows.
He is survived by three children, Susan R. Collins of Dumfries, Va., Norman P. Robert of Blackstone, Mass., and Diane M. Palmer of Turner; his step-mother, Aline D. Robert; one brother, Raymond P. Robert of Andover; four sisters, Helen Toutant of Woodstock, Conn., Jeannette R. Wilcox of Plainville, Mass., Yvonne M. Robert of Turner; and Carol Ann Young of Pawtucket, R.I.; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Marc L. Robert; a brother, Maurice Q. Robert; and a sister Monique D. Pelletier.
