In regard to fighting and hockey, growing up in Eveleth, Minn., we saw a lot of hockey – high school, semi-pro and most of the players from the 1960 and 1980 gold medal Olympic years. The Lewiston team plays good hockey, but fights too much and wastes everyone’s time. Fans do not want to see constant cheap shots like slapping someone’s face with a stick. If they want the real fans to come, they should play hockey.
