LEEDS – Stella L. Leblond, 75, a resident of Spring Rock Park, Church Hill Road, Leeds, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 30, at her home.
She was born Aug. 20, 1929, in Leeds, the daughter of Burton and Irene (Wood) Mitchell. She attended Leeds Elementary, graduated from Monmouth Academy in 1948, and in 1950 she graduated from Bliss College in Lewiston where her course of study was bookkeeping.
On Aug. 20, 1950, she married Azarie L. Leblond in Turner. He died in 1992.
She worked as a C.N.A. at Gray Manor and Greene Acres Manor.
She was a member of the Androscoggin Grange in Greene. She enjoyed her flower gardens and reading.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Leblond, of Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Sherman Mitchell of Leeds, and Burton Mitchell of Auburn; and one sister, June Donnell of Leeds.
She was predeceased by her daughter Irene Leblond in 1969 and her husband 1992.
