LEWISTON – Yvette D. Chinque, 86, of 78 Avon St., Lewiston, died Friday, Dec. 31, in her home with her family by her side.

Born in Lewiston on July 31, 1918, she was the daughter of Wilfred and Helene Beaudoin LeBlanc. She was educated in Lewiston schools.

She retired from Geiger Brothers in 1985 after working there for many years.

On Oct. 12, 1946, she married Leon A. Chinque, who died in April, 1970.

In her younger years she enjoyed and was an excellent skater and swimmer. She also loved to play beano. Yvette loved being a memere and great-memere to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

She is survived by three daughters, Sue Labonte and her husband, John, of Leeds, Joan Bouchard and her husband, Tom, and Diane Saucier and her companion, Jim Girardin, all of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Michelle Richardson, Richard Labonte, Troy Bouchard, and Kristine Beauchesne; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Spencer Richardson.
