AUBURN – John Leslie Earle of 212 Lake St., Auburn and North New Portland, died Jan. 1, after a short illness.

Born in Lewiston, April 22, 1940, he was the son of Willard and Mary (Cimbala) Earle.

He was a member of Rabboni Lodge, AF & AM 150 of Auburn, Scottish Rites and Kora Temple.

He was previously employed at Ricker Hill Orchards in Turner. He and his wife owned and operated McCann’s Donut in Auburn.

After retirement, he enjoyed his camp in North New Portland.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joye (Clark) Earle; two sons, Timothy of Auburn, and Michael and wife, Anne, of Eddington; one daughter, Kathryn Seguin and husband, John, of Lewiston; grandchildren, Christina, Charles, Zachary and Isabella Earle of Auburn, Haley Earle of Eddington, and Ronald and Margaruette Seguin of Lewiston; and a brother, Radcliffe and wife, Linda Earle, of Maine and Florida.
