FREEPORT (Business Wire) – L.L. Bean has appointed Daniel Love as the company’s new vice president of finance.

Love comes from the Atlanta area, where he most recently was chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance and operations for a division of Federated Department Stores. Before his 10 years at Federated, Love was with May Department Stores.

“Dan’s extensive experience, most notably his retail channel background, will be invaluable as the company pursues the opening of more L.L. Bean retail stores around the country,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Mark Fasold.
