Lewiston – Charles A. Schwab recently joined Androscoggin Bank’s Commercial and Small Business Banking department as vice president and commercial loan officer. Schwab serves Androscoggin Bank’s commercial and business clients at the bank’s main office branch located at 30 Lisbon S. in Lewiston. In addition, he is involved in business account development at Androscoggin Bank branches throughout central and mid-coast Maine.

With more than 17 years of experience as an officer in commercial banking, Schwab was most recently employed by Key Bank of Maine in Auburn as a vice president/sales manager. Before that, he held various lending positions at Key Bank in Windham and other Maine branches.

Schwab is a graduate of both the Northern New England School of Banking at the University of New Hampshire and the New England School of Banking at Williams College. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from Anna Maria College and is a former staff sergeant and squad leader in the Army Reserve. Schwab lives in New Gloucester with his wife.
