Winter is beautiful,
Winter is calm,
It is cold,
But warm next to a fire.
Boiling water,
On the stove,
The kettle starts to scream,
The water is ready for the powdered chocolate,
To be poured into it,
Hats, mittens, snow pants,
Coats and boots,
Drip water as they hang on the hooks,
In the mud room.
Rosy red,
Cheeks and noses,
Faces smile as they come back,
from a long day of,
Sledding in the snow.
Snow glistens,
As the sun sets,
The sky is rosy red,
From the cold air blowing.
