TURNER – Ben Alpren Machine is now the lone unbeaten team in the Leavitt Area Men’s Basketball League. Alpren rolled past winless Shooters 127-78 Sunday to increase its record to 4-0. Dan Debruin (29), Jon Wallingford (28) and Shawn Spadea (27) sparked the Machinists. Heath Crocker and Chip Webster both netted 16 for Shooters.

Ruff Riders was knocked from the undefeated ranks, dropping a tough 93-89 overtime decision to Dubord Realty/Ranor. Chris Bessey torched the nets for 35 points for the Realtors. Scott Bessey added 21. Brandon Kyjo led Riders with 26. Jason Bray was next with 18.

In other action, Sherwin McKenzie scored 27 and Justin Perron 16 as Fitness World trimmed Lisbon Road Animal Hospital 91-74. Lance Poland (26) and Tom Labree (15) led the losers.

Chris Williamson poured in 37 points and Jason Fuller added 28 as Sturtevant & Ham Insurance defeated Lake City Exports 92-79. Ryan Giroux paced Exports with 22. Sam Smith and Drew Leavitt added 16 each.
