FARMINGTON – Pauline Jacques, 78, a resident of Green Street in Livermore Falls, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Wilfred P. Sr. and Lena Marie Cloutier Jacques. She received her education in the Livermore Falls school system.

She worked at the Glove Shop in Livermore for ten years before moving to Boston in 1956.

In 1976, she began her employment at Bass Shoe Company in Wilton, retiring in 1979.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay and a member of the Livermore Falls – Jay Senior Citizens. She was also a historian at the American Legion, George Bunton Post 10 of Livermore Falls since 1979.

She is survived by a brother, Wilfred P. “Pete” Jacques Jr. of Livermore Falls; two sisters, Adele Driscoll of Somerville, Mass., and Gloria Dalessandro and her husband, Richard, of Livermore Falls.

She was predeceased by a brother, Norman Jacques.
