DIXFIELD – Gene and Cindy Towle of Rumford are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Towle of Dixfield, to Peter Merrill of Dixfield, son of Ed Merrill of Dixfield and Beth Ring of Mexico.
Miss Towle is a 1996 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and is employed at Oxford Federal Credit Union.
Mr. Merrill is a 1998 graduate of Dirigo High School and is employed at Springfield Terminal Railroad.
The wedding will be held at 1 p.m. on May 7 at the Mexico Congregational Church.
