NORWAY – Norman L. Kincaid, 90, of Norway, died Friday, Jan. 7, at his residents.
He was born in Sommerville, Mass., on Dec. 28, 1914, the son of Walter and Evelina Linnell Kincaid.
He was a graduate of Sommerville High School, Tufts University Class of 1932, and Lowell Institute of Technology.
He married Mazie Clough on May 31, 1941.
He worked for General Electric for 35 years, retiring in 1976. He had worked in Lynn, Mass., until 1951 and then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, to become the Manager of Design for Jet propulsion.
He was also, at one time, a member of the Boston Symphony playing the violin.
He was a member and past potentate of the Kora Temple, a member of the Second Congregational Church in Norway, the Hyde Park Community Methodist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Republican Club.
He had spent his summers in Norway on Norway Lake all his life and had resided in Norway with his wife since 1992.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mazie, of Norway; two cousins, Orell and Leroy Linnell both of Norway; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Burgess.
