AUBURN – The January 2005 Issue of Rock & Gem magazine features an article about Mount Apatite Farm and Mount Apatite Park.

Carol Segal, who has a catering and food delivery business at Mount Apatite Farm, was interviewed for the story. She also has a quarry on her land, the Turner Quarry.

The Hatch Road farm is bordered by the 325-acre Mount Apatite Park. Mount Apatite is world renown for some of the tourmaline that has been discovered there.
