MEXICO – The nonprofit River Valley Wellness Center will hold two informational meetings at noon and 6:30 p.m. today to present ideas on how to promote employee health.

The Wellness Center is in the Mexico Recreation Center, the site of the former Mexico High School, at 15 Recreation Drive.

The times were set up to allow as many employers as possible to participate. Both workshops will cover the same material.

Wellness Center director Tina Sirois will describe a program aimed at improving health, reducing employee health costs, increasing productivity and reducing employee absenteeism.

The Friends of the Wellness Center have been working to increase participation in the programs offered at the site for several months.

The goal of the newest proposed program is to enhance employee morale and retention.

People may make reservations by calling 364-7328.
