FARMINGTON – Evelyn L. Oliver, 89, of Chesterville died Friday evening, Jan. 7, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, in Farmington.

She was born June 18, 1915, in Bowdoinham, a daughter of the late Frank P. and Mary M. (Lancaster) Webber.

She was educated in the schools of Bowdoinham. She was a resident of Chesterville for many years, working in area shoe factories. She enjoyed taking care of her daughter Sylvia, country music, knitting, eating out, working in her garden, and raising sheep and cattle.

She is survived by a son, Robert Mayo and his wife, Helen, of New Sharon; two daughters, Pat Wilcox and her husband, Clark, of Chesterville, and Sylvia Bishop of Chesterville; many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, a nephew, and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by three brothers, Guy Webber, Howard Webber, and Kenneth Webber.
