LIVERMORE FALLS – Two people have been charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.

Mario Parent, 34, and Lisa Parent, 36, were both summonsed Jan. 2, after police were called to their residence at Pine Ridge Loop early New Year’s Day, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Police received a report of a group of people threatening to beat up a man at the residence, as well as a report of a neighborhood dispute, Steward said last week.

It turned out that parents were outside the Pine Ridge Loop residence, Steward said, because they were upset minors were allegedly being allowed to consume alcohol there during a New Year’s Eve party.
