LEWISTON – Arianne H. Emond, 86, of 50 Webster St., died Monday at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Auburn, on May 3, 1918, the daughter of Charles and Eugenie St. Pierre Houle. She was educated in local schools, and was married Aug. 12, 1950 to Camille J. Emond, who predeceased her on Dec. 9, 1992.

Prior to her retirement she was employed many years at Bates Manufacturing Co. She was also a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish and enjoyed quilting, ceramics, reading and working on her many scrapbooks.

She is survived by a sister, Rose Caron of Lewiston; and nieces and nephews.
