LIVERMORE FALLS – Funeral services with full military honors were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, for John V. Korhonen, Jr., at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Officiating was the Rev. Richard Messana. Military members were under the direction of Richard Therrien. Firing Squad members were Richard Dupont, Ray Cloutier, Dick Moreau, Dick Smith, Wayne Parker, David O. Smith, Bob Welch, Gil Barnaby, and Raoul Laplante. Honor Guard members were Eugene Pomerleau, Wally Tripp, Palmer Hebert, Norman Chabot, Bill Guinard, Adrien Legere, and Bob Roy. Flag was presented to the family by John Dube and Dick Therrien. Interment at Pleasant View Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
