WEST PARIS – Mary “Rita” Moskus, 82, of Maple Street, Rumford, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the Ledgeview Living Center, in West Paris.

She was born Nov. 7, 1922 in Rumford, a daughter of Warren and Alida (Cloutier) Lefebvre, and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1941.

Rita had been employed as a secretary for the Rumford Falls Power Company, and later as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years for the Rumford Water District, until retirement. She was also a Communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church.

She was married in Rumford on Aug. 9, 1949 to Peter “Pat” Moskus, Jr., of Rumford, who survives her. Other survivors include a son, Peter W. Moskus of Rumford; a sister, Ida Mae Maillet and husband, Leo, of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
