AUBURN – The 12th annual JP Parisien Memorial Slalom Race is set for Martin Luther King Day, Monday, Jan. 17, at Lost Valley Ski Area. Hosted by the Lost Valley Racing Club, the event is a tribute to the late ski racer from Auburn.
Eligible for this open race are skiers ages 6-14. The pre-registration entry fee (by Jan. 15) is $25. Sign-ups after that date will require a $35 entry fee. Entry forms are available at Lost Valley and Skier’s Edge in Auburn. More information can be obtained by contacting LVRC president Jodd Bowles at 782-2681.
Over the past 29 years, LVRC has offered hundreds of young racers with an opportunity to improve their competitive edge, including members of the Parisien family.
