AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens have made plans for an American chop suey dinner at noon Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the St. Louis Hall basement. Cost is $3, and it is for members only.

A regular meeting was held Jan. 5 with Fern Bussiere, vice president, presiding. Installation of officers was held: Bussiere, vice president; Irene Delorme, secretary; Delice Blais, treasurer; and Joyce Bickford, corresponding secretary and publicity. Virginia Levasseur, president, was absent. January birthdays were noted and small gifts were given.

There will be an overnight trip to Mohegan and Foxwoods, April 10 and 11. Call Jean at 784-5264 for more information.

New members welcomed were Jeanine Grondin and Grace Sennett. Pot of gold winners were Theresa Roberge, Therese Janasco, Noella Rocheleau and Lucille Dick.

The meeting adjourned, and a light lunch was served with bingo following.

There will be open bingo Wednesdays, Jan. 12 and 26, for seniors 60 and over.
