FARMINGTON – Winter music and mime will be featured at the G.I. Coffeehouse that will be held 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, in Old South Congregational Church.
Winter tales will be told by Michael Cooper, a professional mime who has traveled throughout the world with his art.
Also, the coffeehouse will again welcome viol and recorder players John and Katheryn Sytsma. They’ll play tunes with winter and bucolic themes.
Coffee and snacks will be provided; there is no admission charge.
This is a welcoming space for service members and their families and friends.
Those attending are welcome to bring items for the U.S. soldiers in Iraq, such as sunscreen, books, sunglasses or foot powder.
