GRAY – Gen Farynaz tallied a game-high 17 points with four 3-pointers to carry Gray-New Gloucester to a 59-29 win over Wells in girls’ basketball action Friday.
Ana Danielli netted 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the Patroits.
Julia Walters led Wells with six points.
GPC 39, Hebron 18
HEBRON – Emily Johnson netted a game-high 18 points to lead Greater Portland Christian to a 39-18 victory over Hebron.
Greater Portland pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring Hebron 21-6.
Casey Eastwood chipped in with 12 points for Greater Portland.
Kayla Hemphill led Hebron with eight points.
Buckfield 49, Forest Hills 41
BUCKFIELD – Shayna Shackford led Buckfield with 17 rebounds and 10 points as the Bucks defeated Forest Hills 49-41.
Desiree Brackett drained 10 and Alyssa Henderson netted 11 for Buckfield (4-7).
Ashley Krkowski led all scorers with 20 points for Forest Hills (2-7).
Telstar 58, Lisbon 36
LISBON – Baily Davis drained 15 points to lead Telstar to a 58-36 victory over Lisbon.
Telstar went 19-26 from the free throw line. Abby Wentworth added 13 points for the Rebels (7-2).
Gabrielle Mathieu scored 17 points with five rebounds and had two 3-pointers for the winless Greyhounds.
Greely 85, Poland 27
POLAND – Emma Dixon poured in a game-high 15 points to help the Greely Rangers roll to an 85-27 triumph over Poland.
Greely dominated the first half, outscoring Poland 51-10. Renee Jordan was the only other double digit scorer for Greely with 12 points.
Abby Perkins was the high scorer for the Knights (0-11) with six.
Messalonskee 48, Oxford Hills 32
OAKLAND – Sophomore guards Chelsea and Amanda Barker combined for 25 points to pilot Messalonskee to a 48-32 win over Oxford Hills in KVAC girls’ basketball action Friday.
Amanda Barker went 7-of-8 from the free-throw line in the second half to ice the game for the Eagles (5-2).
Messalonskee led 21-16 at the half.
Sophomore forward Allison Fox paced the Vikings (6-1) with eight points, including three field goals and a single from the line.
