I’m concerned that our clean water supply is decreasing, and we’re just letting that happen. People need to be aware that if we just waste water and pollute it, we could lose our clean water. People who love to eat fish could get sick and not know why.
One way we can help is to avoid clearing land when it is not needed. Some land is just built on, then left there to ruin the water it is near.
Abandoned warehouses leave filth in the water that animals drink. Factories generate waste that pollutes the water that we drink. Fish absorb the toxins and we eat them.
Power plants and other factories cause thermal water pollution that kills the water animals and plants. Chemicals destroy the land and water. Polluting our water with chemicals can cause death to most of our fish. Some of our waste blocks river ways and kills fish and any animals that eat fish. Blocking rivers can cause floods and droughts to cities.
Out of all the water in the world, only three percent is classified as fresh.
I hope we are able to find better ways to save clean water. I hope people will understand how important it is to have clean water.
