The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund is a great program that raises money for the less fortunate around the world. This is also known as UNICEF. UNICEF raises money to pay for health care, nutrition, water supply and education. UNICEF also gives regularly vaccinations for deadly fevers and diseases. This program was formed in 1946 to help children in Europe, but luckily the program spread throughout the world.

We need to convince people that UNICEF depends on us. Most of the money that UNICEF raises is voluntary contributions, but some of it comes from the government. Another way to raise money for this program is to “Trick or Treat for UNICEF.” This is where you trick or treat and ask people if they would like to donate to this fund. Doing this, people raise about $7 million yearly. This helps many families, but UNICEF focuses on children.

This program is a great way to help children around the world. I would really like to see stronger support for UNICEF.
